Retrospective du World of Amiga ‘Commodore Inside’
De nos jours assez méconnus, certainement à tort, il existait jadis (dans les années 80) de fabuleux ordinateurs, aux capacités qui nous semblent dérisoires à l’heure actuelle.
Cependant, malgré des performances ne pouvant pas être comparées aux ‘monstres’ actuels en terme de puissance, ces ordinateurs ont totalement subjugué une génération d’utilisateurs passionnés dont votre serviteur fait bien évidemment partie !
C’est en ce sens que je vais m’éfforcer aujourd’hui de faire découvrir à certains ou bien encore de rappeler quelques souvenirs pour les autres ce que représentait un ordinateur comme l’Amiga 1200 sur lequel je vais me focaliser.
L’aventure aura débuté en 1982 via un homme talentueux du nom de Jay Miner, concepteur de l’Amiga alors que l’ordinateur en lui-même ne fut commercialisé qu’aux environs de l’année 1985.
L’Amiga a longtemps été condidéré et à juste titre comme une sublime machine pour jouer, la preuve ci-dessous avec de nombreux jeux qui ont été repris sur plateforme PC car ils le valaient bien !
